"Now, once you've got the neck the way that it needs to be you can go ahead and finish up the piece. Take your hard rib and turn it into whatever shape you were really going for. The soap pump I showed you at the beginning had a curved in base. The way I do that, is just take my hard rib at an angle and push in gently and slowly a couple of times until I get the form that I was looking for. And, then you'll take that same rib. Hold it against the wheel head and slide it towards the piece at an angle. The purpose is to cut a little bit off the base to give yourself a nice undercut for this piece. Smooth the edge. And, then take your wire tool. Hold it against the wheel head and pull it through. And, then you can take this piece right off the wheel and it's done until its dry and ready to be fired."
