"So now we are ready to actually extrude the handles for the queso warmer. You want to go ahead and get a board or some other big flat objects that you can move around to extrude the handles onto and before you put the clay into the extruder you want to check your die. Make sure that it is lined up well and that it is not going to be cut off at any portion. Then you would take your prepared cylinder of clay, move the plunger out of the way, drop that clay right down the tube and then slide the plunger around and drop it into the hole. Now your first cup of pulls nothing is going to come out and that is because the clay is compressing to the shape of the cylinder but once it does start to come out you just want to move slowly and let that extruded. Once you got about the length of whatever you got nearby just break it off with your finger. Cut the bottoms so that it supported and then lay it down to your board. Now it is good to go ahead and extrude everything that is in this tube even if you are not going to use it right now. If you cover it in plastic you can save it for later and it saves you the trouble of going back to the extruder when you need handles again."
