"So what I have done is I have printed out from my computer just some basic geometric shapes divided into portion. In this case I'm going to use fifths. Now I got one hole already punched so I'm going to line up one of my lines with that hole and I'm just going to take a tool and make a small mark on each of the other points which is where I would start each of my designs. Now I'm going to make dragons flies on this one. I'm going to take an Exacto blade and just make a thin body, punch that out and thin little wings. This clay is still a little bit soft as you can see it is not coming out very easily that means that it needs to sit out just a little bit longer before I do this step. Let's see if I can get this side to come off. You can just let it sit and come back to it later if you run across that problem. So once you got your designed cut you go around your pot and you start the design at each one of your intervals until you finish making the hole in your pot."
