"So I'm going to set my pointer for the base of the queso warmer. I want it to be 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The way that I'm going to do that is that I'm going to take my wet sponge and I'm going to make a circle on my bat. Slide my splash pan out of the way so I can get my level down on there. I put this right across the center at the largest diameter. Got 5 1/2 inches. So I need just a little bit more and that is 6 inches. So that is my width. Now in order to make the height 4 inches like I want I'm going to take just some chunks of, these are bisque molds that you can, you can use wood or anything that you have to build up your pointer. That works that is right at 4. So I would set this right at the corner of my circle and scoop this pointer until it almost touches my measure. Now when I throw the pot I'm going to be throwing so that outer corner of the pot is going to meet the bottom corner of my pointer. Now I'm ready to throw the base."
