"Hello, I'm David O'Donnell and thank you again for joining us on Expert Village as we continue with our lesson called Ventriloquism 101. In this segment, we're going to deal with our next letter, W, which gives people problems when trying to do a ventriloquial act. So, W we're going to create a phony phoneme similar to the other letters that we've studied so far. We're going to do a double O, as in the word boo. So, as an example, when we come to a W in our script, wind, instead of saying wind we're going to say oo-ind, oo-ind. So as you can see, wind, wind, win, wind, requires lip and jaw action to create the sound, but as we're going to see now, with practice we can get oo-ind to sound similar. Oo-ind, oo-ind, oo-ind, oo-ind, oo-ind, wind, wind. As you can see, by using the double O in front of the W, we create the illusion of saying W without the movement of the mouth and jaw, and that is the art of imperceptible speech."
