"DEB HUGLIN VOGEL: Hi, this is Debbie "The Roboteer," and I'm here with Expert Village with the finished product. We've made a wire lizard like Sandy Calder taught me out of one big piece of wire. The fun thing about these lizards are you can just bend them into any position so we can make it do any kind of thing we want, and the sky is the limit as to what you want it to do. So I thought we make it kinda bend around, then bend the tail a bit. So you can just kinda make them walk. You can make them crawl up walls. Here is where--you know, if you're putting it on a wall, you could actually secure it through the toes and you can just have it do whatever you want. You can use the same technique to make any kind of animal you want. So I really enjoy it. And look at how much energy the wire has; it just makes it look like it's really doing something. You know, the nice thing about these lizards is, really, you can mount them on the wall pretty good, and you'll see them all over the Southwest on a wall. So people are always making lizards to go with the real ones, and the real ones are prone to running in and out of the lizards that are sculpture. You know, the thing with these lizards is you can actually spray paint them or paint them to be any color. You can add little bits of metal or beads or whatever you want to make it more decorative. You can make them into door knockers. You can do just about anything you want, or if you're going to use them in the kitchen, you can actually paint them with stuff so that your--you paint them with PAM so that the cooking stuff won't get on them and they could hold your spoons. Certainly, you can go anywhere with this. They are the perfect thing to start out with, and you can even wrap them with fabric because this is like a good basis for making something you want to stitch or quilt or do anything you want to, because then you're going to be able to make it take any position you want it to."
