DEB HUGLIN VOGEL: Hi, this is Debbie "The Roboteer," and I'm here for Expert Village. We're in the middle of making a wire sculpture like Sandy Calder taught me to make. This happens to be a lizard, and it's all one piece of wire so it has tons of tensile strength like a big safety pin. Right now, we still got the same piece of wire, and what we want to do is we want to put some scales on this lizard. For this, we're going to use our pliers, and we're going to just start curlicuing things. So we'll make a curl there, a curl there, a curl there and a curl here. But these are just--we're just going to put a few little scales on here. But we want to secure it so that it just isn't a wild piece of wire that's going to get caught on everything. So here we go--more wire, and you can hang on to it and squish it, whatever works. But it's really good to experiment with your tools. Then we'll secure this one, and we want to go across to the other leg. You can never have it be too strong. So we're having a little scale action, and now we're going to just do the same thing up the other side for scales. And then we want to secure that. Then we have three sets of scales; we're going to have one more. One more. So now, we have the scales all the way down the back. Let me just secure it, and we're almost to a completed lizard.
