DEB HUGLIN VOGEL: Hi, I'm Debbie "The Roboteer," and I'm here for Expert Village. We're making a one-piece wire sculpture like Sandy Calder taught me to make. And today, we're making a lizard. You can see that we've already made the head with the eyes, the neck and both front legs. Now, we want to go down the body and make the next leg. And we just can cheat and kinda bend this like this and make it exactly the same, makes it really fast. Now, we want really nice long toes. And we just keep squishing those so they fit together really good. If your wire is thin enough, you don't have to use pliers but if it's thicker, pliers work better. So here we have some great toes. We need our little back claw. And then we want to wrap up the leg. So there's the ankle. Once again, you want to twist the lizard and not the wire, and that way, your whole roll won't unwind. Okay, and then we're ready to go for the next leg. Let's just make this real tight. One more, there you go, nice strong lizard.
