Choose the Right Drum Kits for You

"DENIS DOWNING: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Denis Downing at Roxy Studios, New York City and today, I'm going to show you how to set up some band equipment. Okay, basically, we're at the drum kit now. And again, if you're a club owner, you have to realize there's going to be a lot of different people playing this kit. So, you're not going to want to go with a beginner and then to an immediate kit. You're going to want to get yourself a good kit otherwise, you're going to be buying kit after kit after kit because there's a lot of wear and tear when you have a lot of different people setting it up and breaking it down. So, you're going to want to get some good shells, nice set. You just need basically the snare stand and the snare, the hardware, the cymbals, the hi-hat stand, the hi-hat, these are all things that the drummer could bring himself; the throne. So, you just want to get a good basic kit. Let them bring everything else."
