Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Eileen O'Brien for Expert Village in Suncoast Dance Academy and the second part of our series for beginners ballet is going to demonstrate tendus. Demonstrating for me here is Joleen Stevens she is starting in your 1st position heels together toes turned out and her arms in a prosperity position. She is doing preparation with her arms, beautiful and she is going to do tendus to the front. With the arm positions forward and beautifully turned out. Tendus, tendus, to the side or second position and notice the arm is following that. It is like she is drawing a line with her toe and erasing it. She is doing a straight line and bringing the foot back in and now she is finishing to the side which is the 4th of our routine to do on quad positions which is front side back and side and at the end of the exercise her arms come back down to preparation positions. Thank you Joleen that was beautiful and that conclude our 2nd clip for tendus. "
