"Next I'm going to go ahead and highlight the face by using a nice natural, darker color, which is almost like the color a lot of people use for blush. You do not want to use this color for blush though. I have two types of brushes for two parts of the face that I'm going to contour. One being the high cheekbones and the bone structure which goes along the line of your face. And I'm going to dip it in here. By starting up in the, with the ear area. And you want to always move the brush in an upward motion. So you work your way down, suck your cheeks in, into this corner right here. You want to make sure that your face is nice and contoured at all times for the pageant. And what I'm also going to do is not only do this part of her face for contour and high cheekbones, but also right here to give the illusion of losing what we call sometimes that double chin because you're shadowing the face. And you want to put it up into the neckline, which is at the side right here, along the ears to the chin right underneath, work it down, blend it in very nicely. You do not want it in any area of the face where you will be able to see it when you put it down here in the chin area. And what I'm going to do next is I'm going to highlight her nose area with a much smaller brush. Dipping it in, this brush will, very small with brush right here. I am starting at the corner of her eyelashes, I'm sorry, her eyebrows, working my way in, very small line right on top of the corner of the nose. So it's only one small line on that side. I'm going to do the opposite right on this side. So you're right here, working it in. And as you can see, the only part that I've left untouched is right in the center where I put that white mark earlier to right here, leaving this open also. You do not want to put any there. Now, I'm going to go ahead and use Q-tips. Q-tips are great for blending in. You're going to go ahead and blend in this color so it looks a little bit natural. And you want to blend it in, in the same direction that I just put it on with that brush. Blend it in. What I'm going to go ahead and do is the lips. Very important. What I'm going to do is by starting off with a good lip liner. Because it is State, you want probably something that is going to stand out a little bit more by getting a really good sharpened pencil liner. Depending on the colors that you prefer, I like to use colors that stand out a lot. So I'm going to use two different colors. And you can decide what colors you like to use. And it also depends on what you're wearing and the color of your skin tone. But you want to start out by doing it in the shape of her lips, right along the edge, and filling it in all the way to the corners of the lips. And on the bottom part too. And fill it in really, really well. This is what's going to hold that nice lip color in and it's really going to make those lips stand out and give it that nice heart shape that we all love to have for our lips. Now Christy has very nice lips. She has natural heart shaped lips, so it depends on what natural type of lips you have. Sometimes we like to put the lip liner on the outside of the lip, but sometimes you want a little bit more of that natural look. So what you want to do is kind of find the balance and stick to it. And make sure you get that lip liner all the way out to the edge like so."
