Next is eye shadow, when you're on stage you do not want your eyes to blend in with those heavy lights, you want to make sure that they stand out. And how to do it is a very different way of doing it than the regular day when you would look at the average person and they would have their subtle eyeshadow.You want to make sure that your eyes pop, you have to do it in such a way that you're going to make your eyes much larger and brighter and really stand out with that light reflecting right on them. So I'm going to show you how to do that. What I start with is a very nice shimmery eyeshadow and it is white or an off white. You want to start with a light color and make sure that you get a small brush like this with bristles and it's very thin. So when I start is in the very corner of the eye which is the inner part of the eye, I start right here. I'm pressing down with the eyeshadow, I'm not rubbing it I'm pressing into her eye with it. So go ahead and press it in with my right in and you want to stop, open your eye, you want to stop right where the pupil starts. You do not want to go further than that because then we're going to put another eyeshadow color. You're going to put different colors to pop up those eyes and you are going to do the exact same thing on the opposite eye. With the same color the white color I'm going to go ahead and add a little bit of coloring right up here at the base of her eyebrows because that's going to bring out her eyebrows. You always want to put a little bit brighter color right underneath your eyebrow line all the way out. Can you see how I did that? That exact same color I'm going to add a little bit more and put a little bit more eyeshadow right on the bottom of her eye. Open your eyes for me please. So right there it looks out of the corner you want just a tad right there. You see how I did that? So that's the lighter color now I'm going to go ahead and do the darker color, show you that smokey eye that I'm going to do for her.
