"Hi my name is Allissa With Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to crochet a Beanie. So now that we've made a chain stitch into a circle to start off our beanie we're going to start with a single crochet stitch in the spiral. So what we have here is about three chain stitches in a circle and we're going to start with a single crochet. So what you want to do is find your next stitch which is right here, and you're going to put your hook through that stitch, put your hook in front of the yarn, behind the yarn and pull it through that first loop. And then grab your yarn again and pull it through both loops and there's your first single crochet stitch. So now we're going to go to our next stitch right here, you're going to put your hook through that stitch ok, put your hook in front of the yarn, behind the yarn and pull it through the first loop and then pull it through both loops. So now you have two single crochets and you can see we are just going to continue around in a circle. So now we'll have our next stitch right here. Put your hook through that stitch, in front of the yarn, behind the yarn, and pull it through the first loop and then pull it through both loops. We're going to continue around in a circle with our next stitch put the hook through the stitch, in front of the yarn, behind the yarn, and pull it through, and then pull it through both loops. So we're going to continue on stitching in a spiral with our single crochet and in the next clip I'm going to show you how to add and subtract stitches in order to make the shape of your Beanie."
