"Hi, I'm Emily Larew and in this segment we're going to focus on the pancake. Now there are three elements to your pancake that you want to make sure that happen every time. So, let's break them down. You're feet are apart. What you're going to do is let's start with our chest. Your chest is going to pop. All right, what's going to happen is we're going to go out, in, out, in, up and down, up and down. That's your first element is the chest pop. So, we want to make sure our knees are going up and down with us as we go, because we're going to a level with the pancake. So we go, arch, contract, out, in, up, and down, and up and down. Good. Turn it to the side. We're going to go up and down, up and down. Good. Let's lean over now with this. So we're still in the first segment, but now we're going to add the second one by bending. You need to make sure you're always bending with the pancake, and it always goes to the right. At least for our pancake for today. So we're going to go up and out and up and out. So as you can see, I'm going up and then I'm lowering on a different level, and as I go down I'm still sticking my chest out and popping it out, and leaning to the right. Up and right, up and right, this is a little bit faster motion. Good. Now our third segment, third element of the pancake is the arms. So, you can kind of do a variety of things. You can keep them in like a snap position, or you can open them up like you've got a little spatchula here, and that's why it's called the pancake, because what you're doing is your are pretending that there's a little grill right here, at McDonald's, and you are scooping up your pancakes and sending them flying out the to-go window. So what we're doing is our arms are bent, this elbow, right elbow, is slightly up, left elbow is like you're holding a serving tray. What we do is we come across and we switch that position, so my right arm is now holding the serving tray, my left elbow's up, and we come back to the left. Again, so we're going to lean right and up. Now as you can see, I'm keeping my arms open. I want you to have lots of space underneath your armpits, and not keeping it like this, nice and close to your body. You don't want that. So ready, so we're going to lean and up, right and up, right and up, straighten and up. Make sure that your hands are flipping and totally changing spots. Let's add them all together. So we've got out and up, out and up, I'm leaning, I'm using my arms and my third segment element is my chest. So we've got pancake, down, and you can go faster with it, and then get crazy, and work it out. Six, seven, eight. Good job that was pancake."
