"Hi, I'm Emily Larew, and we are going to focus on arm wave with a scoop. So, if you've seen the previous demonstration, we've done arm wave coming from our shoulder. This one's a bit different. So, starting with our feet apart, and our knees bent, we are going to--we'll start with our left today. Your fingers are going to come up--again, we're keeping them in a straight blade. And from here I'm just going to have you work on your arm. Your fingers are going to go up, we're going to curl them, it goes elbow and down. Fingers, elbow, shoulder, and down. So let's do a couple more. Follow me really slow, and down, fingers go up, they curl over, almost like you're going over a little ski slope, elbow, and shoulders down. All right, so we're going to roll. Roll, two, three, four. Now some people like to do this, and they get this whole wrist twirly thing in it. You don't want to do that. You want to keep it one extension from all the way from the shoulder to the fingertips. So, try it again, no flippies. If you've been doing that, cut it out. So, one, two, three, four, straight up and down, all the way to the side. So if I'm looking at you, see how my fingers are just going straight up and down. Now we're going to add our scoop with it, so what you're going to do is you're going to come up, and as it goes down you're scooping the side of your body. So all I'm doing is rolling to the side and scooping, almost like a little ice cream scoop right out of the carton. So we're going to go down, and two, three, and four. Good. Try it a little faster. Here we go. One, two, three, four. Nice. Try it with the right, just so you can get a feel for that. We're going to go up, fingers straight down. No twirly Q's with those wrists, straight up and down. And down. So, fingers over the hill elbow and down. So scoop, we're going to the side, scooping out that side. So, down and around, down and around, all right, now slow it down. So, down and up, down and up, let's get a little faster, five, six, and five, six, seven, eight. Awesome. Those are your arm waves with your scoops."
