"Hey everyone, I'm DJ Shy here with Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about the importance of a sound check. You need to do a sound check every time that you?re at a club or you?re setting up your equipment just to make sure that things are going right when your going to perform. So a sound check is pretty much what it is. Just check for the sound. Make sure that everything is crisp, clear. The bass, the tremble, everything sounds great and you would want to play. Make sure the left turntables working so. It's playing a song so obviously it's working. Make sure that the right turntables working so you would want to play the right side and everything sounds good so that was your sound check. You would also want to do a microphone to make sure that the levels on your microphone is not too loud. That it over powers the music and not too soft so that people can't hear you. So with that you would want to get your microphone. Turn it on, start talking until you hear, you get it at a level that you want it and we want it right there. So now your ready. You checked your sound, you checked your microphone and we're ready to get spinning."
