"DJ Trails with hiphopelements.com, Miami, Florida. Today we are going over mixer basics and signal flow. This is Vestax 07 PMC Pro. What the mixer does is it separates the two channels and gives you different volume and level controls. The basics really is the cross fader. This is channel A and this is channel B. If you want to hear this side, flip to channel A. If you want to hear B flip to channel B. When you are mixing and you want to hear both at the same time, once everything is on B and ready to go, you flip the cross fader into the middle. Then we have level controls for each channel. Channel A level control; volume up and down. Channel B level control. Then we have fine tuning for the volume which is your gain here. Again here channel A and channel B. Each channel has its independent EQ with lows, mids and highs, kill switches, which you can use to achieve various effects. They each have a pan; so if you have stereo sound, you could pan from left to right that’s your balance here. You have phone online switches, we have inputs here for additional inputs. We have two microphone inputs and you can plug in two CD players that you can alternate as well and that’s mixer basics #1. "
