Leader's Under Arm Pass in West Coast Swing Dancing

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Eric Jacobson and I'm Donna Roesel and we're here in Dance Manhattan Studios in New York City to show you and teach you West Coast Swing. We've just done a starter step to a send out, bringing her from closed to open. We're now in open position, our arms are nice and relaxed, our elbows are out in front of us, we have swing hold with our fingers nice and secure but again, comfortable. We're going to do and underarm pass. On this, leaders, the follower will go under the hand, down your right side and she's going in a straight line down the slot. So, I step back and get out of the way lifting the hand, the follower continues down the slot, three and four anchor, five and six. Again, from this angle, I lead her down the slot, lift the hand, let her pass, three, and four, anchor five and six."
