"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Eric Jacobson and I'm Dona Roesel and we are here in Dance Manhattan Studios in New York City to show you and teach you West Coast Swing. We're going to do the rhythm pattern once more for you. This time turning around so that you can see our foot work begin. Again, leaders I'm starting on my left foot, partners are starting on their right foot, we're doing a double, triple, triple. So, we're doing walk, walk, triple step, triple step, it looks like this. We're going one, two, three, up four, five up six. Once more, it's like this, and one, two, three, up four, five up six, this is the basic six count rhythm pattern of the West Coast Swing. Again, leaders starting on their left foot, followers on their right. A double, walk, walk, and then two triple steps, three steps in two beats."
