"In this clip I'm going to demonstrate how to recover from a dropped stick. In a live situation no matter who you are, it's bound to happen whether you drop a stick or you break a stick. So I'm actually going to do a beat here and I'm going to, I'll throw the drum stick because I don't think I can on cue, drop one. Just to give you an idea of what you should do in the situation. You want to try to keep the beat still going with the one hand, and try to grab your stick as you're keeping time with the song. So here we go. Let's see what we can do with this one; two, three, four. If you'll notice, I didn't drop a beat. In a live situation sometimes you can't really help it. But and I wouldn't actually suggest practicing this, but like I said, it's just something that does happen in a live situation. And that's kind of an idea of what you could do to try to recover from it. So do the best you can with it and have a good time."
