"In this clip I'm going to demonstrate stick twirling. Stick twirling is a really cool thing to do once you get the drumming part down. I suggest that you get that part down before you worry about doing any kind of theatrical stuff. But once you get the drumming part down, I think it's really cool to throw a little stick twirls in here and there. I do it backwards like this, that's backwards to me. I know a lot of dudes that go this way, and I can't really do that. So you do whatever is most comfortable to you. So here, let me describe or play a little drum beat, and I'll throw a couple spins in. Alright? Here we go. That's a stick twirl. Like I said, make sure that you get the drumming part down before you worry about doing any kind of theatrical stuff. But once you do, I think it looks really cool to see a spin here and there. So have fun with it."
