"I'm here to talk about how to play the cornet or trumpet. All of the sounds that you hear in the world are produced by sometime of vibration when playing the cornet or the trumpet that vibration comes from the lips. What happens in the process the air blows across the lips causing them to vibrate, the most important the first thing you need to know about playing the cornet or trumpet is how to produce the buzz. The first step in that is to dampen the lips after dampen the lips try placing your tongue just the tip of your tongue between the lips and tightened the corners of your lips, and flatten your chin. Then while pulling the tongue back slightly until it clears the lips we're going to leave the opening between the lips and blow the air out, it should cause your lips to vibrate and begin the buzz."
