" Hi I'm David Cantieni on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be sharing with you some useful techniques for practicing the Irish style flute. If you are listening to Irish tunes you probably notice triplets. In some place you use triplets more than others. I have to say that generally I don't use triplets a lot but it is always nice to use them in your repertoire, in your bag of tricks. In generally there are two types to triplets. You can have something like this as in this tune. It is actually sometimes start up as, you notice that I am not moving this finger at all. I'm rather playing bummm and this is D dadum, dadum, the other way you can do however is so that is one use for the triplets. Then there is another type of tune that puts in a triplet right of the type. So you want to be able to and sometimes downward. Well that is in the D tune that I was playing. When you practice triplets again you want to make sure that you feel the/your fingers being little drums on the instrument. Okay have fun with the triplets."
