" Hi I'm David Cantieni on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be sharing with you some useful techniques for practicing the Irish style flute. Now I have shown you how to produce a roll and the next part to practicing a role would be try to make that an even rhythmic sounding ornament. You'll notice that it comes out in threes so a jig rhythm goes perfectly. If you want it to do it in real time that is in four you can play the note below. My goal is to always stay as even as possible. There are several different styles for playing rolls which you probably would encounter if you listen any Irish music. Sometimes rolls are delayed you can play. Like that. I find it more challenge in some ways more satisfying to play them evenly though. Okay good luck."
