"Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to draw the face. Now that we have the oval for the head. We're going to draw some guidelines so that we know where to place the eyes, nose, lips and ears. So what you need to do is go exactly in the middle of this oval and draw you a very light line across the middle, then you want to go from that line to the chin. You want to go right in the middle of that as well and draw a very light line across that. From that line you want to do the same thing to the chin you want to draw a very light line across the middle of that, this is going to be the layout for where the eyes, nose, lips and mouth kind of line up. The common misconception is that the eyes are kind of the top of the head but in reality even if you look at this photo, the eyes are in the middle of the oval and the forehead is much more larger than what we normally draw it. So that is what these guidelines are for is to show you that the eyes are really in the middle of the head and actually they come in here so they are lower than half of the oval that we have drawn. The eyes will set in right there and that is the layout of the face."
