Alright now that I've got my shadows in the background. I'd mentioned that this shadow is actually, it's a little bit darker. The darkest shadow that I'm seeing on this piece is actually underneath the seal. So before I get to the darkest one on the seal I'm going to address the shadow over here because it's got this interesting really light area and I think that's just a kind of reflection from the glass. And it's kind of an oblong, ovally circle area. So I'm going to kind of just lightly pick out that really light area and then you can see there's kind of these rings from the, I guess it's the bottom of the glass, that are being cast. So I'll kind of just loosely draw those out. And then I'm going to go straight to a mid shading. And then once I do that then I'm just going to get really dark. Once I get this area that's pretty close but I want to come in here and get this shadow underneath the seal the darkest because that seems like it's the darkest from my vantage point. And you can really get hard on these pencils. You can press hard on them. The thing about this paper is after a while your pencil gets nubby. So you've just got to go over here and sharpen your pencil. So those are the mid to dark background areas.
