"Okay welcome back. Now I've kind of gotten these started and so forth. I want to talk a little bit about the background. And if you like, I don't know if you can see it on camera but you've also got the shadows of the actual pieces back here on the wall. So, if you feel comfortable doing it with the dark pencil you can do that but for this purpose I'm just going to come in here and kind of pick out the shadows with the baby blue pencil. And I'm just going to lightly do that back here. And the shadow usually it's almost a carbon copy of the shape of what is actually casting the shadow. And then sometimes you have to move to see it but just come in here, do the outline of the bottle again. It's usually smaller. It just depends on your lighting. Sometimes the shadows are a lot bigger. Just depends on where the light source is coming from and how close it is and so forth. And there's actually a shadow over here for this glass container so I can come in here and pick that out. And lightly compose that as well. And that's your background work. The start of it."
