"In the previous clip, I discussed the coquille board, which, like I said, you can get at, not every art store, it's almost like a specialty art store. And some places that I've been you've actually have to order it, so it's not used nearly as often as it used to be but if you take the time and get you a sheet and play with it or practice with it, I think you'll find you'll really like the results. So what we're going to do today is we're going to do just a basic still life drawing for beginners. And the tools that we're going to use is a basic number two pencil or you can use a baby blue prism color. And this is actually a colored pencil and it's black. And it uses a lot of the wax so you'll want to keep your pencil sharpener handy. I have an electric pencil sharpener over there. I have a kneaded eraser. Some people will call this a gum eraser but basically this a kneaded eraser. I have an exacto knife. This is basically a razor blade knife. Be careful with these because they are sharp. And I have a couple of different rulers here. This is actually a clear ruler for measuring and laying out the border. And as far as any other supplies, I've just chosen some random household objects for the still life. And those are going to be the supplies that we use today."
