"Alright now that I've got the eyes and the nose and the mouth indicated I'm going to go and get into the detail. And for the eyes, now that I've got the basic shape of the eyes. One part is, there's usually a glare on the darkest part of the eye. So I'm going to go in and pick out my glare. And it's usually in the same spot of the eye. So I'll do that. Then I'm going to come right behind that and draw the pupil. And I'm going to get really dark with the pupil. Okay. So I'm going to pick that out. Now for the actual, I guess it would be the retina of the eye, it almost looks like a star and you don't just shade it in one direction. They kind of come out like a star all the way around. Like sun rays or star rays or whatever. And that gives it depth. I'll come in and do this all the way around it. Now for the nostrils I've indicated them here. I'm just going to go a little bit darker and then I'm going to drop this line down and give her nose a little bit more shape. Okay, come in over here. And then to give the nose some depth I'm just going to lightly do a circle. It doesn't even have to be a full circle but it will give the nose some depth. And then for the lips. the way you shade the lips, you just do these kind of half curls in the direction that the lip is. And you kind of come underneath like this. And then for the bottom lip usually people have a glare on their bottom lip. And I don't really like the shape of her lip right now so I'm going to change it up a little bit. But that's alright. And then on the bottom lip it usually is a little bit lighter because usually the bottom lip kind of sticks out. So I'm going to make these strokes just a little bit lighter and curl them out as well. And then right in the middle you want to get dark where there's usually like a crease in the lip. And then to give this lip some depth you can take your gum eraser and then just lightly pull off some of this and that will give it a glare. And that is working on the face."
