"DAVID CLEMEN: Hi. I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village, and today, we're going to do an abstract painting on a larger scale on a piece of birch wood. Alright, the first color that I'm going to plop is red and I'm just going to go randomly and pick my spots. And this will use a lot of paint when you have a large piece like this, but for me, it's really fun thing to do plopping this paint down. And sometimes I'll just plop it and I'll try to avoid that one plop so I can have some texture. And once we do this--these plops are smaller, some are bigger but once I add my squeegee in there and start moving this paint around. It seems like a large area to cover but by plopping the paint in different areas, I'm going to be able to cover a large amount of paint and a large amount of wood, I'll be able to cover in short amount of time. So, I usually start with about that many flops. Plop, Plop, fizz, fizz around the wood, and then once I squeegee in the next segment, I'll see how much paint I have and I need to re-plop. So, that is plopping the first color of paint."
