DAVID A. CLEMEN: Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to paint a piece of glass inside of a frame. Now after you've applied all your paint and let it dry normally, the acrylic on the glass actually dries really fast. There's two things you have to look for when you're peeling the masking tape because after you peel the artist or masking tape, you basically--if it's covered by a lot of acrylic paint--acrylic paint is basically like plastic, so it's almost like a sheet. So if you just rip off the tape, it will peel--all the paint over here will stick to itself and you'll just be peeling everything. So you want to be very careful when you pull this tape up. And this isn't completely dry but that's all right. So you need to get an X-acto knife. And I don't believe I talked about this in supplies, but an X-acto knife, you can get under the corner of a piece of tape, and then basically just take it here. And this is a piece that I really didn't paint over, but that's all right. It's just going to give me more negative space. So this is one piece. And also, you want to have some paper towels handy to lay your tape on there that has the paint on it, especially if it's still wet. So you're just going to come in here and find a good corner to peel up. And if you can stick it, then you can just peel it all the way off, and then stick it over there. And then you're just going to go around the piece and do that until you get all the tape up, and just take your time. But once you get a corner and you get it up, and, like I said, this stuff--I mean, this has only been a couple of minutes and most of it is dry, and it's probably 'cause we have a lot of light on it and it's a thin layer of thin of paint. But if you let it dry for 30 minutes to an hour, you'll be fine. And if you see it starting to tear into something that you don't want it to tear, just take the actual blade of the knife and you can separate the paint from the tape. So like I said, just go around and take your time, get a corner and peel this tape. And that's all you really need to do is to remove your masking tape.
