DAVID A. CLEMEN: Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to paint a piece of glass inside of a frame. All right. Now that we have pretty much our basic design and we know that the matte is actually going to be white behind this. And we're going to use green and black. The only color that I think we could really use--that's probably debatable. But I think what I'm going to do is use a dark blue. I guess this is a phthalo blue. So I'm going to add some phthalo blue in here, and then I'm just going to kinda build on the layers that I already have. And I'm actually going to go back to one of the bigger brushes. I'm going to wipe off this excess paint and water because it will run on the glass 'cause the glass is hard and likes to move around on there. So I'm just going to dip some of this blue stuff with a little green, and then I'm going to come in and just come in here and kinda paint over where I put my masking tape or artist tape. The artist tape is different than masking tape in the fact that artist tape is not as tacky. And when I say "tacky," I mean sticky, and so when you use it on paper and things like that, it peels a lot easier. And so I'm just going to come in here and fill this in. And it looks like I'm covering a lot of the glass but I'm mostly painting around where the masking and artist tape is. So when I peel that tape, a lot of the paint will go with it but it will leave the silhouette of the blue paint. So this is adding another layer of paint to the glass tree painting. And then after this and when it dries, I will talk about removing the masking tape, artist tape.
