"DAVID A. CLEMEN: Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to paint a piece of glass inside of a frame. Okay, now we've added some more color. We've kind of talked about negative space. Before I put the next layer of color on, which will kind of complete the painting, I'm going to add like a few more little details into this border and--because once I add this one and then I put the background layer of paint on, that's--I can't really do much more with this piece of glass because my details have been to the front so I wanted to make sure I get a few more design details in before I put the background layer on the piece of glass. So I'm just going to come in with a small brush, and then now, I'm just going to come in and do really thin lines in between these thicker borders. And they don't have to be as thick; they're just kind of there as a design element, just to give it a little bit more texture in the border. I want to do that all the way around. Okay. Now once I've done that, I'm going to take a little bit more of this green that we have here and then just come in behind on the edges of the glass where it sets into the frame, and then come in and do more details. But I'm still--we're doing these added details. I'm still leaving a lot of negative space like we talked about before. I'm just adding a little bit more depth to this painting, and once I do that, then I'm going to be ready to add the final color to this glass painting."
