DAVID A. CLEMEN: Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to paint a piece of glass inside of a frame. Now that we have the glass cleaned and we've taken the paper that comes with the frame out, I kinda have to decide what I want to paint on this glass. And I'm actually going to use the matte that they give me, and I'm going to paint my subject in here. I still haven't figured out what I want to paint there, but it's going to be something simple. And what I'm going to do to help myself help remember where this matte is and things like that, I'm going to take my artist tape and I'm just going to use this tape as guidelines where everything is. So if I put a piece of tape here and here and here in these four corners, I'll know that that's where the blank space is when I take the matte back out, and I'll know that I can paint my subject inside of there. And then on the other side, if I want to do a border, I'll be able to know that 'cause it's on the opposite side of the tape, and I'll be painting on the inside of the glass. So now that I've done that, I'm going to flip the frame over and take the back out of it, and I think my subject will be either a tree, a simple tree or the sun, or something simple with just really clean lines.
