"Hi I am David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to paint with acrylics the female figure. Now that we have built a kind of mid-grade or mid-tone, I am going to go even a little bit darker because this is kind of a moody kind of noir type of a shot. You can basically only see her eyes, she has got the 20's big feather and this interesting kind of flapper hat so we are going to go just a little bit darker at this point and add a little bit of water so that the paint spreads even more. My strokes are also following the shape and the contour of this model's body so I am trying to add depth while I go into these darker colors. Use a touch of red again and this is working fine for the skin color. It's a little dark there and that is what I am talking about but once you add some water you can blend it out. That's your job is if you make a mistake you fix it once you have the chance because if you keep going it is harder to fix. Just stick with it and don't get discouraged. You can usually fix it if you kind of address it as it comes. I guess you could apply that to life and deal with it head on. It is a lot easier than avoiding it. Now you can see I am starting to add some depth to this figure and then once we add in the hat and the hair and things like that you are going to start to see this thing really come to life and then that is going darker with colors."
