"Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to learn how to draw characters. Okay, now that we've practiced eyes, we usually are going to put a nose and a mouth. So, we'll get back to the nose, but we're going to do some mouths right now. So, you can do really simple lines. You can do a circle for someone yelling, "Aww!"and then just draw a straight line across for teeth. And then you can do a little line here for- and you can even do the shaking tonsil back here and a line there for the tongue. See, if I were to add a nose there, all of sudden it looks like a nose and a mouth. We can do really big lips. Indicate lips like that. You can do really - for this evil guy over here, you can do really thin lips with no shape whatsoever. Like that. You can do supersize lips, like someone's kissing. Kind of one here like this. Over there. Smack. Okay? And these are all different ways you can do lips. You can do them from the side. And that would be a nose here. So, all you have to do is practice, and you'll find that you can come up with all different kinds of mouths. You can make them really small in proportion to the face. And that's how you do character mouths."
