"Hi this is David Jackel on behalf of Expert Village and I'm hear to talk to you about using the loop library in garageband. Now the loop library stores all the different loops that you can use to make it easy to create songs in garageband. So to get to the loop browser I click on this little I icon down here that opens up the loop browser. This is my library of different loops and now they're all categorized by a type of music, feeling instrument let's say I want to have a guitar sound and I have different options. I can have rock blues, urban let's say I want to have rock blues I click that do I want it to be single, clean, acoustic maybe a little acoustic relax or cheerful, I'm going to go with relax and now these are my different options over here. So now that I set my criteria for what I want for my library I can pick through the different choices so I click on the different sounds, now if I haven't found the sound that I don't like yet then what I do is go back and into the loop library, I hit reset and I can start fresh. I can also search the library by going through the scale maybe I want something thats minor like this one here. Or maybe I want something that's good for both or I can go into this area right here and just do a search. The loop library in garageband is enormous and you can keep building to it to so it's good to use a loop browser here to narrow down your options, and then choose the song that matches what your looking for."
