on 6/18/2009 Thanks for the reminder!!!. I forget how 'easy' the drag and drop feature on i-Apps is. I always want to do something 'tricky' and go to the file menu and import. Silly me! :)

"Hi this is David Jackel on behalf of Expert Village and I'm here to talk to you about how to import media into garageband. Now from time to time your going to want to take some other file and bring it into your garageband project. Maybe its some other song that you want to cut apart and remix, so what you do is click on the music file and itunes, click it, hold it and drag it into garageband. Now it's importing now I have a brand new track which is the track that we have imported and we imported an audio file. So you would manipulated as you would manipulate any audio file, so this here is just like any other audio recording that we could of brought into the computer. This is especially useful if you want to do a remix or if you want to do a sample, let's say I like these drums a lot so I could cut it apart and loop it, and that way I can play around with the audio files as much as I want. So it's very simple to import a file into a garageband all you have to do is click and drag from itunes."
