"Hello! I’m Julio Anta of Anta’s Fitness & Self Defense in Miami, Florida. This is one of my instructors David Landrian-Shrewsbury, and on behalf of Expert Village, he will be demonstrating the lion dance drums and percussion. The gong provides a very straight regular rhythm for the drum to follow and also acts as almost a pace keeper for the remainder of the musicians. Additionally, the gong can play rhythms of it’s own that are more intricate. Additionally, the gong can produce a role during the bow and other parts that require a role. "
