Now in order to create the illusion of the eye ball we're going to concentrate on creating the illusion of the Iris. Even though the whole eye ball is round. In order to make it look right in a sculpture, we're going to need to cut away this part, white of the eye. And leave this part as the spherical part in the eye ball in order to create the illusion that this whole thing is round and the Iris stands out on it's own. So this is where we're going to be working. And all we're going to do is cut away this part of the eye in order to create that Iris ball. Remember that the Iris isn't completely visible. So we're not going to be able to see the whole thing. But we're going to create the roundness primarily in the Iris area by chipping away, carving away that part of the white. Pity of it, give the Iris it's roundness to establish the main part of the eye. Then you'll use a little heat in order to see what's going on. And you can see just cutting away this part of the white has created a round ball here that represents the Iris itself.
