"Hello, we are cartooning. And we've drawn animals, and we've anthropomorphized them, and we've put clothes on them, shown what they are talking about. Well now when we draw our cartoon characters we want to know a little bit more about the story and what's going on. And to do that we'll use the setting, or the backdrop. And since this guy is looking kind of grumpy, this dog here. I'm going to have him say, "Not again!". And from that, I don't know, I'm thinking we can show where he is. We have a little jot of grass coming out there. Here's his dog house. And we've got some more grass going on here. And here is his food dish. And sir, that food dish is empty, so that dog is not happy. And an anthromorphized dog that is not happy, is a lot scarier than just a dog that's unhappy. You know what? This dog also likes to watch television. So he has an antenna. So basically setting can transport this character anywhere. You know, not again, I don't know. Maybe he's out in the woods, and his favorite tree that he likes to sniff has fallen over. And we've got the hills in the backdrop. We've got the sun shining bright. We got some clouds going on. And there is that dog in a setting. And he is in a world that he does not like. Backdrop."
