"Hi there! We're cartooning today and we've drawn mammals. We've drawn reptiles, amphibians, fish, and birds. Now we're going to concentrate on the little smaller creatures of the animal kingdom, insects. Insects are a little harder because they're a little bit smaller and harder to see, but if we've seen picture or we've even seen one buzzing around. I've already kind of given away what I'm going to draw next. We can give a basic idea of what kind of animal we want to draw. I've drawn wings. I've drawn a little stinger on the end and I've drawn these stripes. Even if no one's really seen one up close and they're heard about it, this is a bubble bee or a honey bee or any kind of bee. Another creature along the lines in the insect kingdom. This is pretty easy. If I were to draw just a little circle and 8 legs, what are we going to think? I'm thinking we have Ms. spider. She's got some fangs and she's smiling because she's probably caught a fly in her web. Yummy yum buggies! "
