"Alright, in this clip we're going to be doing noses, and this is kind of where the characters will separate. They already are pretty diverse in their looks. We've got man-villain here, beast-man villain, and really scary evil-villain over here. And, they're all very different already, but on paper, especially if you're looking back like we are right now, there's not a whole lot separating them. They all look angry. They definitely all look evil, but now, they're really going to start to separate. And, we're going to start with our man-villain here. And, we're going to give him a giant honking nose, an almost comical nose. We're going to add a lot of definition to it, so that we make sure the audience knows that this nose is not supposed to make them scared of just anything, that this guy is not meant to be taken seriously. I mean, yeah, he'll foil the plot a little bit from time to time, but in the end, you know he's not going to prevail. Moving on to beast-man, it's pretty clear at this point that this guy is going to end up being some sort of werewolf character, so therefore, we're going to give him an animal's nose, big black flared-nostril nose. Now we're going to have to add a little detail to this nose and look like we're going to have him growling at some point, so we're going to have to give him the foundations for that, a growl. So, there you go; he looks sort of like a growling werewolf. And since we're going to make him growling eventually, we're going to also give him some wrinkles up in here. Just kind of round out the whole scrunched-up nose look. He's going to end up looking like quite a wild beast there. Now moving on to our really evil villain, we are going to follow the principle that less is more, and we're going to give him something kind of freaky and unhuman, which is going to be just two little slits, which you are just going to draw by going like two little swoops right up in there. Nothing big, nothing distracting, so basically we're just going to add to his mysterious and sinister presence. It does not look normal; it doesn't look non-threatening either. It looks almost like a snake's nose. See? So, you can see the variety between them: the nose that lets you know this guy is kind of a comic-relief villain, the beast-man nose, and the incredibly evil nose. The thing that really separates them is obviously their overall attitude and look and where you're going to be going with them. If you really want to be creative, obviously, you can come up with lots of different noses and eyes, but for now, we're going to stick with the three separate looks we're doing here, and we're going to follow this little path that we're on to creating three different types of characters, just to show you how. Alright, let's move on now to the mouth."
