" Hi I'm David Cantieni and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be showing you the many aspects of playing the Irish wooden flute. If you are interested in more information or finding out other places where you may find me you can go to www.digdigmusic.com or you could email me at digdig@cracker.com. Well I'm going to now show you how to make a note on a wooden flute. Many people think of it like blowing across the top of a bottle which you probably already know if you have a flute at all. So like they say in Casa Blanca just put your lips together and blow. This is the simple way. It looks easy but you may have to work on that for a little while. You might also want to get a little bit more sophisticated. What I try to do is start with a very relax bottle like start and then see if you could see how it might change that. It all has to do with aim over the whole the air has to it goes across here and there is a very sharp edge that splits your stream of air. So the more focus you could be on that the better luck you are going to have."
