"This is going to be on trees and foliage. Trees and foliage are basically textured in using different techniques. Let's get some green so we can make something look like foliage. What you want do is sort of a random technique where you're pushing and pulling the brush and you're sort of sweeping in a figure eight or an oval type system. This kind of texturing will give you some foliage look. Okay. There's other ways to do it too. You can get a brush that separates real well. Like a mop or even an inexpensive oil brush will do a good job too. Sometimes the cheaper the better. Every time you hit it down you want to turn it. You want to rotate your brush. So you can imagine with a little green to it you can form a tree. With darker greens, wet and wet or wet on dry, you can form a bush or a tree. You can even use your flat brushes to do a pretty good job if you use the corner of them. Remember, every time you come down on it, change the angle on it. Otherwise, it will look like it's a repeated brush stroke instead of a random, organic shape."
