"With all the cameras out there, you know, which one do you pick? The most important thing you have to consider is your application. You know, how large do you want to print these out at? Or how large do you want the ability to print these out? Because most people take pictures, and the normal size is a four by six. But occasionally, they want five by sevens and eight by tens. Well you'll need more mega pixels to do that. And you'll need like seven to eight mega pixels to do an eight by ten. But if you weren't going to do eight by tens, you could just wind up with a three to four mega pixel. But that's just part of the story. The optics is another part. And if you go with the better camera companies that have the better optics like Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus, then your eight by ten pictures will have a little bit better quality sharpness because of the optics, not just the resolution."
