on 4/17/2009 Well let me ask you something. Is this the spirit of rock n' roll?
winning the hearts of the youth who will forget your song a couple
of years later?
Have you ever listened to Pink Floyd? Led Zeppelin? Rolling stones?
these guys get into the hearts of the people BECAUSE they didn't sticked
to one style which the youth liked.
thats the different from a band that will hold 10 years after its disband
then a band that will hold decades later.

"The last tool you'll really need to be writing a good rock song besides we have our pen, we have our notebook or something like that, some type of thing to write on that you can carry around, that's portable, we have our guitar, both our acoustic and our electric, we have our amps, either a high quality or a low quality amp. It really doesn't matter. The last thing we need is, we need a heart and a mind that is in tune with our generation, especially the youth generation. We need to be in tune with their needs, we need to be in tune with their wants, we need to be in tune with their fears and we need to be in tune with the things that make them angry. Because those are the things that are going to make a successful rock band become more than just a fad, and that's what's going to make a rock song more than just the normal rock song. Because if you can capture the hearts of the youth with rock music, then you're going to have written a good rock song. And those are the tools necessary to write a good rock song."
