on 10/7/2009 en cloche is something else entirely. you could at least put on a leotard and tights - but it is pretty obvious you are not a professional.

" Hi! My name is Connie Hale and thanks for joining me here at expertvillage.com. Today we are learning some beginning ballet and bar work moves. We are now going to be moving on to a grand battement. Grand battement is simply a kick to the front, side or back. Holding on to your bar or chair or dresser or whatever you are holding on to for support; arms are up and we are starting the fifth position with simply bring the leg up, waist, height is fine, up and down, up and down. Grand Battement means to beat and grand meaning large, so it's a large beat of the leg; large beat up and down. To the side we are leading with the knee facing up to the ceiling; up down, up down, up down and to the back I want you to be sure that the knee is facing out to the side, up down, up down, up down, up down, up down. To the back I want you to be sure that the knee is facing out to the side; up down, up down, up down, up down. Opposite leg we bring it up right, knee facing out to the side; leg is turned out, side and to the back and knee is facing out to the side and in. All right. Thanks for learning grand battement. "
