We’re going to work on some combinations. What we’re going to start with is what’s called shuffle off to Buffalo. It’s a simple crossing of the feet; it is a shuffle and cross up. I’m just going to demonstrate it first and then I’ll break it down for you. Step, shu-ffle, up, step, shu-ffle, up, step, shu-ffle, up, step, shu-ffle, up. Alright, let’s break that down. We step, weight is on the foot. This foot is free to shuffle. shu-ffle. We’re going to hop on to that free foot now, while the other foot comes up to join us in the front. Alright, let’s break that down again. Step, shu-ffle, hop on to it, up, step, shu-ffle, hop, step, shu-ffle, hop, step, shu-ffle, hop. Let’s try that on the other side. We’re going to step with our left foot now. Step, shu-ffle, and hop, step, shu-ffle, hop, step, shu-ffle, hop. Let’s face that to the side so you can see the weight transfer. Step, shu-ffle, hop, step, shu-ffle, hop, step, shu-ffle, hop. Bring it up to speed. Buffalo would sound like this. Bring it even more. Double time on that one for those advanced students out there.
