"CRAIG BROWDER: Okay so we are going to be talking about to clean up the picture to do something called an overlaying and you are like I have been talking about and talking about and actually have not done it so this is going to be--this time I am going to show you real quick I have an overlay set over here but basically since we got all these construction lines and it is you know we have got this drawing but it is kind of like messy. What an overlay is, is you basically just take another piece of paper and you are like you can get right out a piece of paper if you can see through it or like this stuff that is called vellum and they--and you know usually they use it for like you know drafting and stuff like that but you can take a piece of vellum and put it over top of it and that you will be able to see through it really really well and then you could sketch it and if you want it like make copies then you can scan it into your computer if off the vellum and go from there you can--you can draw it and you like color it in your computer or whatever programs that you have or just send somebody who could like look our crew and my drawing is. So basically here is what an overlay should look like when you are kind of done. This is just basically all the hard lines you notice from this one in compare to this one and we have got this line is kind of cutting through everything, this is what we started with, the--but in here the horizon line--I actually stop so you can see a very good idea of where these pieces are sitting, how this was way in the background and we have got all these objects up in front and post. And so that is basically how an overlay works just kind of fine tune and make it--make your drawing a lot nicer looking. And then from there you could you know like I said you can scan it in and print off a bunch of copies and then you could like color it a bunch of different ways or whatever send, give it to your friends and be like look all these cool shapes. So yeah, that is basically how it works so is your basic overlay and it is pretty much it for this section so on to the next one. "
